Drilled one of these up last night and ended up throwing it on the viper pattern. Layout is a high pin with the cg out. The ball rolled up really well and is strong on the backend but not skid/flip like my Toxic. The local pro commented that he really liked the way the ball rolled. The league I used it in is a PBAX singles league with 2 people per pair. By the 2nd game I was throwing about 20 to 10 and was even deeper the 3rd game throwing about 25 to 10 but could get the ball back from outside 10. Don't have the ball weights or angles used in drilling in front of me or I would provide them.
The ball does seem to be a lot stronger than the Toxic but like I said, not a skid flip reaction.

Im a Lefty and i just got a Psycho off of ebay previously drilled for a lefty. so i kept the current layout CG in the middle of the palm, and pin 1 inch above ring finger and 1 inch to the left. Im a Stroker and this ball catches mid to late midlane and makes a quick move to the pocket. ive never thrown a hammer product b4. ive always been a Track man, but since throwing the Psycho, im thinkin about switching to Hammer. their balls in my opinion need more attention and maintenance frequently for best performance but its well worth it.

First of all, I love the look of this ball. You pull it out of the bag, and it catches people's attention. On the production side, the Psycho hits like a truck. I drilled this one pin over the bridge 5" from PAP. Ball goes long and makes a strong move to the pocket. This ball is great when lanes start getting a little drier. This is the first ball I pull out for practice frames to get a read. If it's squirty, I go to my Acid Raw Hammer that I dulled to 2000. Great ball at even better price!

BALL REACTION
Length - Ball gets really good length. Very clean thru the heads
Back End - Same great drive I've come to expect from the Raw Hammer line. The ball really powers thru the rack with great carry.
Overall Hook - The Psycho has a little more length due to the difference in coverstock than the ACID, but has a very similar look and action.
Midlane Read - The Psycho reads the Mids very well. Very similar to the R.H. Acid.
Breakpoint Shape - I get an arc, which is similar to the Raw Hammer Acid, but the polished Pearl coverstock does delay the breakpoint on drier lane conditions.
COMMENTS
Likes - The Psycho, along with the Raw Hammer Acid make a great 1-2 for me on every league I'm on. They're drilled almost identical, but the Psycho has better length due to the difference in coverstock. Same great hit and carry though.
Dislikes - Like it's name, it can be a little Psycho. It can give me a little over/under reaction at times if the pattern is spotty or heavily tracked out.
