My buddy, a left handed tweener around 17mph and around 300 revs just received a Total Inferno..but the pin is an inch. How much does this limit his drilling options? He wants to swing it about 5-7 boards but from what I've read small pin balls tend to go longer and react later, with less of a hook action. Is there any way to drill a small pin ball aggressively?

with small pins you typically have to keep the ping/cg in or close to the grip otherwise you gotta drill a massive weight hole.

Good call. Most of the time, that is the best way to go...

I dont think there is much of a difference in pin lengths. execpt long pins go longer. thats about it and short pins dont have as many drilling options well unless you want pretty good size weight holes.
