ok, i have a epidemic & taboo pearl ..according to hammer's fcc rating they both have a 10 rated cover ... now for me the epidemic is hands down stronger than the taboo pearl ...

both at oob surfaces the taboo goes longer and moves less(still moves a ton) than the epidemic ...

so i decided to take the epidemic to 4k and still its stronger, and as of now almost too strong for my house wood lanes w/usbc red house shot..

my pap is 5 7/8 over by 3/4 up

the epidemic is drilled 55x4 3/4x25
the taboo is drilled 45x4 1/2x30.....

so what surface should i try? and if both balls were laid out identical and had the same surface which would be stronger?

The epidemic is drilled stronger, neither balls are designed to make a left turn but I give the edge to the epidemic core being stronger.

The epidemic is drilled stronger

I don't know much about layouts, but there isn't a significant difference in layouts, is there? Wouldn't the Epidemic just read a bit earlier?

They are drilled somewhat close but still the epidemic is drilled to go longer and even dull the taboo gets further downlane and crushes the pocket while the epidemic comes in heavy and either faces the headpin or goes Brooklyn .....

On a side note I had my proshop copy the finger pitches from my bite which has different pitches compared to my taboo pearl & grape vibe... Also the thumb on the epidemic is 0L/R 0f/r while the taboo pearl & grape vibe are 1/4rev 0L/R .... I wonder if that's what the prob is?
