Since there aren't any reviews on this, I thought I would just ask.

Anybody have any thoughts on the Track 716C?

I just recently got to throw the new line of track stuff and have to be honest.... Between the 716c 811a 919c and 503c the 716 is by far my favorite! I threw them all on 2 different shots and can say the following about all of them:

919 needs head oil and is a good continuous piece with enough oil. The problem I found is I can not match up with any high end ball in that house, even the hellraiser and bank which I love, stay at home when I bowl there so I cant give this one a fair shake, but from what I did see I like it.

811 is very strong off the spot and gets down the lane very easily as you might expect from the designation. The thing I didn't like about it is that OOB it is not a fan of a lot of oil, and can get a touch speed sensative.

503 is a great lower end ball that is smooth and controllable on the backend, much to the same accord as the old 505c is as well as its stronger 716c counter part. I am a fan of the 503 for broken down patterns or lighter shots

716 was my above and beyond favorite that day. probably put 6 games on the demo ball i had. very very versatile. Allowed me to play anywhere from 5 board in to swinging 20 to 5 (with minor hand and speed adjustments) a lot easier and more readily then any of the other peices. I see this as being a great benchmark piece. Reads the patterns great and hit awesome!

Thats my thoughts anyways

here is my thoughts on the 716C...$50 + shipping and you can have mine ..not a bad ball, just too much overlap to see much use

Where in Illinois are you? I would be interested in getting this from you

A low rev guy I know bought one. Ball goes absolutely straight when it hits any oil for him. If he hits any dry it goes through the face. Might be a better ball for someone that has more power.

Drilled several Track pieces for my wife recently. She has plenty of hand for a woman, and decent speed. The layout for her is close to 4" pin to pap, cg kicked slightly, with a p3 hole.

Smooth is the word for this piece, compared to her 715T, its about 5-6 boards less overall, and about 2-3 boards less on the back. It definitely is a control ball, and to see it roll like that for a pearl is kinda crazy. We were expecting a little more ball than what we got, especially compared to the 715T and the 505 T.

Overall, I think the 715T is the much better rolling ball for most conditions she has faced so far, jmo....

The 716C is going to shine when the heads break down more and the lanes transition. the 716c is really going to come to life and roll the way it was intended. I have above average hand and can get the ball to move more on the backend and love this piece

716 T is coming.. as is a 508A (it's pretty!)

I've pretty impressed with the 716C though,,, the look and roll/reaction of it. If i had any use/room for another ball, it'd be one I'd consider.

I am in the same boat as you are as far as not needing another ball, but with that being said I still may get it I am that impressed after throwing it at a demo day
