Diamond Dust sanding pads

Jayhawk appears to be offering "diamond dust" sanding pads that will last 60-300 times longer than traditional pads!

Are they only for use with Haus type machines or could they be used with spinners? I have no idea.

I wonder how much they cost? I don't see them in their online store yet.

Re: Diamond Dust sanding pads

Per Jayhawk they can be used with a spinner. They will add to their on-line store and be ready to ship in early August.
The cost is $35 a pad or 3pak for $90.
Their website states they are good to use for 60 -300 times. That seems like a really wide margin for expected use. If the 300 times was truly realistic, then the price would be a steal. But, at 60 times not so sure I would buy. Maybe with more information on the actual number of uses, I might.
I buy Abralon and SiaAir pads in bulk for about 2.40 a pad. Good for about 5 times or $.48 per use.
At $35.00 for 60 uses equals $.58 or $.50 using the 3 pak price. Not bad, but I stick with what I'm buying currently for now.
