Roto grip spare tire

So I have found a used roto grip spare tire. It could use a resurface, and the middle finger hole has some cracking around it that could be drilled out and plugged.
It's a 15 lb, and the guy was asking $10. Is it worth it?

Re: Roto grip spare tire

I visited a colleague down in Iowa last month and his office manager had on display an un-drilled spare tire ball. It was in a display case along with some signed racing helmets and other racing related items.

If you need a spare ball, it's one of the more interesting ones. $10 won't break the bank, but by the time you get it plugged and re-drilled, you may be closer to $50. Clear balls never look quite as good once you plug/re-drill them.

Re: Roto grip spare tire

I saw that tire ball too. I passed on it, it's pretty rough.
