I've bowled with him back when I bowled ABT before it folded.

I don't care what equipment you throw or how easy the shot is, 900 is impressive.

I can't imagine carrying 36 ten pins. Congratulations to him 😁

Dear LuvThatWhiteDot:

Then again, for a while, Robert Mushtare claimed to be able to adjust before he thought he was about to leave a 10-pin ... and he backed up those claims with THREE 900 series in one league.

Red face Re: Minnesota bowler is latest to join the '900 Club'

That bit of news was on local news today in Phoenix. Weird to be on news so far out west. Quite an accomplishment I'd have to say. Heck, I struggle to make a 600 series most days. I can't even relate to a 900 series, and know that I will never ever be close to that great accomplishment. A 700 series would be great again though, but as I age I feel that even that is slipping away with time. Sigh...

I know what you mean. Last season I didn't get a single 600. Thankfully I seem to finally be out of my funk and rattled off 5 straight sets over 600 including one 700.

Re: Minnesota bowler is latest to join the '900 Club'

I find it to be most times when people go into long streaks of bad luck its due to picked up bad habits they just do not see in their game. Also at times a shot will change for one reason or another temps, weather, humidity, machines and if and when oiled last. Also at times it can be easy to go on "tilt" during strings of bad luck and start to try to hard, increasing said bad habits. As many non-bowlers will say, it can not be that hard to get 36 strikes in a row LOL, easier said then done. Sadly I have heard that line way to many times about getting a strike being easy. Best I have ever gone is 23 of 24, first game was a dump LOL and the one that was not was "trying" to adjust to what I thought was a change in shot from watching teammate bowl prior to me, I never heard the end of that one. Never had anything close to that sense and that was in Ely MN back in 1997 on a old wood lane center, so have to give Major congrats to a MN bowler pulling the 900 as part of me still resides there from the year and a half I lived out that way.

On the point of knowing when a adjustment is needed to avoid 10 pins, LOL if you watch you pin reaction you can most times tell when it will start soon, bigger point is CAN you make the correct adjustment, I know for me I flail at it a few shots if I get the correction down at all, takes a very good bowler to know the cut points to make the slight changes at times that can be a good strike to a ten pin leaves at times. Also I will admit I am no where close to consistent enough either. At this point I will just be happy if I can bowl at all next season, took the season off for knee issues, and now developed a rather bad neck spelling stiffness issues that has yet to be figured out. At this point would just be happy to have a good night sleep without 800 mg of IBU with 10 mg Flexurall and that just to get a so-so night at moment LOL.
