Kegel easy street Not So Easy

So we are bowling on easy street for the first third and everything hooked way to much!!!! Thinking about throwing my Lane #1 liberator but need opinions. If you've seen my videos I do hook the ball and I was lofting
all my equipment over the right gutter cap out to 5. Not a very consistent shot!! Ideas???? Thanks!

Re: Kegel easy street Not So Easy

From memory, this a fairly easy pattern with little oil outside of 10 board and more volume in the center of the lane. Start by targeting 15 out to 6-8 board and see what happens. Move in deeper if that doesn't work out for you.
Its on the low end of the medium patterns so its a bit shorter.
I haven't seen you bowl, so these are general statements
lower rev players can stay outside longer, higher rev players would move inside more

It's the worst pattern at our center. 38 feet low volume pattern doesnt mix well with a high friction surface. I scored best with a Pitch Black and going to a roll out shot with my Brunswick Absolute Nirvana

Re: Kegel easy street Not So Easy

Thanks guys agreed, super high friction with my release = right turn at 30 feet!! If I played 15 to 6 I'd hit the 10 pin being a lefty lol! I'm gonna try my urethane liberator 25 to 5, any other suggestions? Maybe from someone that's seen my Lane #1 videos? Thanks!!

Re: Kegel easy street Not So Easy

We've had a couple of short oil pattern tournaments at our house recently. Even the "straight" guys were going past the head pin on a lot of shots.

The key to getting the ball to the pocket is to utilize a very soft, but fast release. Any upward lifting motion at the point of release is magnified in the back end.

Re: Kegel easy street Not So Easy

I find this pattern and other like it to be a wet/dry hell. I know it varies by lane surface, but most of the time they are instant hook right of 9 and slick as hell inside 10.

Re: Kegel easy street Not So Easy

Weak ball, weak surface, should play nicely around 5-6-7 early on and migrate in as it breaks down.

If you really want to see a headache, try the Wolf at 32 feet and volume.
