Re: 900 Global Bounty Hunter
This is the most impressive ball I have ever thrown!!! I used it on the Shark pattern and played it like a house shot. The ball is very clean through the heads, picks up heavy roll in the midlane, but when it hits the back end, its ike someone kicked it....the ball flipped harder than any other MB ball I have ever thrown!! The price is a bit steep, but you need to get this one....you will not be dissappointed....let alone the $50,000 that Global 900 is offering for all who throw a 300 with it!! WIN-----WIN!!!!

Re: 900 Global Bounty Hunter
SUMMARY
Hits like an exploding dumptruck with rockets and Chuck Norris driving. Now that weve got THAT out of the way
Strongest ball Ive ever thrown which includes Super Carbide Bomb, Resurgence, Agent Orange and Battle. Does not have sharp movement at the break but very, very quickly gets into a roll resulting is better than average carry.
Idiot Tester Stats
Drilled pin over ring (5 to PAP) and with MB 2 from thumb. Left it in box finish.
Rev Rate 300-350
Ball Speed 16.5
PAP/Track 6 x ½ up
Pattern 1
THS synthetic; ~40; house usually has a clean backend which breaks sharply for me.
Target Stood 25, Arrows 12-13, Breakpoint 7 or further out.
Reaction Ball picks up the lane very early. Other dull balls would go into a roll and die; the Bounty Hunter would keep moving and storing energy. Carry was above average.
Ball played well even though I burned nine games on the pair; only had to move right (as a lefty) five boards to keep the ball in the pocket. You cannot get away with setting this ball short; it will roll out ugly to Brooklyn.
Pattern 2
Modified Cheetah; synthetic; intent was to lay Cheetah; probably was just a short, flat pattern.
Target
Stood 22, Eyes at 10 board at 40
Stood 10, Arrows 5 straight up.
Stood 5, gently swinging 2-3 board at 35
Reaction When standing 22: steady Arc; slow to pick up the lane but certainly better than a polished Resurgence, dulled Carbide+, and a Yeah Baby; still would get into the classic roll before it got to the pocket. Any mistake to the right (as a lefty) brought the ball across to Brooklyn). Pocket (and Brooklyn for that matter) was money as far as carry was concerned.
The straight up 5 line would not come up.
The 2-3 board was too erratic; any errors on my part would miss head pin right and left.
Pattern 3
Modified Cheetah; synthetic; same house as Pattern 2; other end of the house where the line is always 5-10 boards dryer. .
Target
Stood 25, Eyes at 10 board at 40
Stood 10, Arrows 5 straight up.
Reaction From standing 25, the ball had too much on the last half of the lane. Huge atomic hits or uncontrollable reactions. Certainly a sharper reaction; over-hooked uncontrollably when the hand came around the side of the ball.
Straight up 5 was more effective and the ball had no problem coming up far outside. Read early and still had strong move on backend.
Pattern 4
Test THS for upcoming season; 40 in same house as Patterns 2 and 3; THS here is normally one of the oiliest in Omaha.
Target
Stood 15, Arrow 6, Break 5-6
Reaction On an easy shot where all equipment worked on one line or another, the ball was lotsa fun to throw. Did not recover well from the outside when I missed badly (like a pearl might have). No carry concerns.
Compared to Other Balls
This ball is obviously in the Strong category. When compared with other Strong balls:
Agent Orange the AO has a bit more polish but is drilled similar. The Bounty Hunter has more hook at midlane and backend. From the reaction, Im guessing the AO may complete that same move if it were duller.
Resurgence my Resurgence is/was my earliest rolling piece. The Bounty Hunter has the same early roll and more back end.
Bounty (original) My first Bounty was also drilled pin over but with not as much MB kick out. Also, my Bounty was cg-out of line favoring my left hand delivery. The Bounty would grab the lane early and make its move but sit
not roll out, but the backend was very reduced. The Bounty Hunter appears to complete that backend move.
Super Carbide Bomb Both balls have a similar midlane; the Bounty has much more finish.
Black Widow Bite Also drilled pin over, the bite is very long for me, unlike the Bounty Hunter. Of course the Bite has far more flip at the break point; it never rolls out.
Carbide+ - Drilled pin under fingers, for me this ball does not read midlane or flip the backend. The Bounty Hunter is 10-15 boards stronger throughout the line.
Battle Drilled pin alongside fingers; same cover condition as Bounty Hunter. This ball appears to be the closest in terms of amount of lane friction when compared to the Bounty Hunter, however, I need to throw them side-by-side.

Re: 900 Global Bounty Hunter
I love this ball. I have carried some real junk shots with this ball. Really seems to carry well when it hits a little high. Really slams out the 4 pin.
My only problem is the ball tends to play a little long for me. But I have been using older equipment, so an adjustment period may be needed for the new stuff.

Re: 900 Global Bounty Hunter
Would like to start by thanking Beach for helping me with this ball!
About me: 15-16 mph, unsure of revs but would guess it about 350-400.
The shot our house lays down is a Modified Nationals shot. Plays heavy oil from 7-15 and drier in the middle and outside. They only strip once a day so the backends are dirty when out night leagues begin.
I picked up this ball and was impressed with the first throw. Ball is clean through the heads, reads the mids well, and is very smooth off the spot and trucks through the deck. Carry is UNBELIEVABLE!!!! Light hits, heavy hits, pocket shots, they carry! Ball is very versatile to say the least. Can pipe it up the ditch or swing it over the middle. The ball does need head oil to really get down and carry well, however if the heads a burnt up some getting a little loft on it really helps this ball out! I have found that even on med oil you can use it but have to keep the speed up. Recovers well from outside misses and holds well to the inside.
