GBS Balance System

Hello Bowlers, the GBS Gravity Balance System is going digital. The GBS System enhances your ball reaction and will further your bowling knowledge about ball balancing. I'll be posting 1 page per week for the next 5 weeks, or until the GBS APP is made available, which hopefully won't take too long to design. So without further adieu, here's Part 1 GBS System, Page 1. Please don't hesitate to ask any questions and enjoy..!!

I'll reserve judgement until after I get to read the whole white paper, but I'll probably give it a shot just to see whats up. I'm no stranger to ruining a ball by trying some weird trick layout, and I have a few gallons of resin.

Fair enough, but the is isn't any weird trick layout, this is all Physics, with precise balance hole placement to move the ending heavy spot/mass of the ball to a desired location. Nothing but science here

Re: GBS Balance System

Good afternoon bowlers, is everyone getting ready for the new season..? As you may or may not know, Lane #1's Diamond core is the most perfectly balanced core on the market, but If you're looking to score even better this coming season, no matter what brand ball you choose, you want the core and weights perfectly balanced as well, and the GBS Gravity Balance System is the #1 choice. Here's Part 1, page 3 to help you get familiar with what ball balancing is all about. Enjoy

Hope everyone enjoyed their holiday weekend..? Now that we're back, bowling season is upon us. And with that, we now start getting into the meat and potatoes of the GBS Gravity Balance System, concerning Leverage Weight layouts. Are you looking for more hitting power, better carry, a more consistent ball reaction..? If so, start asking for your ball to be balanced using the GBS System. So without further adieu and better understanding of how the Gravity Balance System can work for you, here's Part 1, Page 4. Enjoy

Re: GBS Balance System

Hello bowlers, it's time for the final page on Part 1 of the GBS System. This page takes into consideration asymmetrical cores, and with that, dual angle layouts. If you've enjoyed what you've read, please like and share the knowledge. Enjoy

Re: GBS Balance System

Is pouring bowling balls an exact science? Is it not correct that no two bowling balls are alike. If you take a 15 pound ball with the exact same specs as a neighboring ball, will they react the same according to this research, or will they still react different?

We all know when pouring a ball there are variations of mixture. Maybe there is an air pocket. Maybe there is a slight variation in minerals etc.. I had a tour of Ebonite once, and the mixing and pouring steps do not seem to be an exact science.

Your question seems to pertain more towards coverstock differences..? But as you've suggested, not every ball is the same, concerning pin out and top weight specs. Because of differing starting top weights, balls will perform different, even though the layouts are the same.

The GBS System basically makes up for differences in top weight, allowing you to end with the exact same static weights and/or the exacting CG position, which will then bring 2 different starting spec balls, into exact same ending specs, thus giving you an almost identical ball reaction between both balls, when otherwise they would have a different reaction.

Does this answer your question sufficiently..?
