I have the 900 Global Cardinal Boost. It's a great ball for me.

Re: Question on ball

The 900 global boost is a good ball but be careful it can be stronger than expected. The hustle ink is an awesome ball, smooth and continuous. I'm definitely loving 900 global these days but that hustle ink is hard to beat.

Replace your Hectic with another one.

I love my Tag Cannon but it's by no means a "dry" lane ball. Same thing with the Boost.

The Freestyle is Motiv's "dry" lane ball

Neither is the hectic im more on the speed dominant side so havent had luck with true dry lane bowling balls even when the lanes are torched ive had more success with medium to dry have tried a tropical storm and ascent pearl in the past with different layouts and surface and just couldnt get them to roll right

Re: Question on ball

If you need a dry lane ball, Storm Tropical and Columbia 300 Scout. I use a old Lane 1 XXXL plastic with a diamond core

Re: Question on ball

I have the blue vibe, its a bit earlier and slightly more round off the spot then the red one.
Super clean up front and absolutely needs friction to be effective.
When there is friction outside and I'm able to use it, it becomes a strikefest.

I'm with you on the tropical, and the XXXL I love them both.

Re: Question on ball

You should try the Hot cell. The heavy core helps carry and read the mids better but it is urethane coverstock so it's not overly aggressive.

Re: Question on ball

I use a Ridiculous Asym with a low flare layout for dry lanes, works like a charm

How does that one compare to the Lane #1 Liberator?
