SURFACE PREPARATION
Grit - 2000grit(abralon)
Type (Matte, Polish, Sanded) - Snake Oil(Valentino)
LANE CONDITION
Length - 41Ft(KEGEL Main Street)
Volume - Medium/Heavy Oil
Type (Wall, Xmas Tree, Sport) - Modified THS
BALL REACTION
Length - Medium Length
Back End - a Very Strong Arc Motion(not flippy at all)
Overall Hook - Ball likes to Roll in the Midlane and provides a nice strong arc towards the pocket. OOB finish can push a bit too far and pick up too late on heavier oil patterns. Took OOB finish(polished) to 2000grit(no polish) and ball showed an entirely different reaction on heavy oil.
Midlane Read - Semi Strong Midlane on Medium Oil Patterns
Breakpoint Shape - Not weak and not ridiculous, enough to provide decent entry angle to the pocket when there is not much carrydown present.
COMMENTS
Carry - For Mid Priced Ball it carries light hits and flush hits as good as more expensive balls with stronger coverstocks and cores.
Likes - Can play up the lane( 12 to 7) or open up the lane(18 to 5)
Dislikes - none for the price and type of lane condition its meant for
Other -The color is really nice going down the lane(easy to read) and looks great on the rack(shelf appeal) very good for a mid price ball. Picked up another and drilled it 5x5 pin above finger bridge and cg in palm, ball provided a much cleaner reaction through the front with less midlane and a strong backend reaction when the track area was a bit jumpy when bowling on my 2nd shift league.
